The text editor control makes it possible to have text on a page that you can change. For example, let's say you have a page that talks about your currently featured item. This may change each day, week, or month. Instead of having to involve a web programmer to make the changes to the page, you can simply log into your site as an authorized content manager and make the changes yourself.

Changes can be entered purely as text, or you can enter HTML into the control if you would like to format the display in a special way. Optionally, you can have a picture associated with the text. If a picture is included it will appear in the top-left corner of the control and the text will start to the right of the image and proceed down until the bottom of the picture is encountered and then the text moves to the left margin. This displays in a "wrap around" style. This style is demonstrated on this page with the text wrapping around the picture of the typewriter.

To change your content you first log into your site. Once you are recognized as a content provider, you will see the "Change Content" button. Clicking on this button will cause the text box under the button to appear with the current text in it and the "Change Content" button will no longer be shown. The text box is shown below. Simply make the changes that you need to and press the "Update" button to save the changes to your site. It's that simple. The changes will appear instantly to your users on the Internet.
