The Calendar allows visitors to your web site to see a list of events. All users will be shown the events for the current month when they access the page. They can then go to any other month by clicking the Next Month and Previous Month links, or can jump to a specific month and year by selecting it in the appropriate web controls. By clicking an event, the user is permitted to see the details of the event to include contact information and a detailed description of the event.
Event entries can be made in several different colors. This makes it possible to easily color code similar entries that may fall under the same category. This approach may make it easier for your users to locate the items that they are looking for. On the Calendar link below, there are several entries that have been set to display in different colors as an example.
Each Calendar has the option of producing an RSS file for your users that may have an RSS Reader. This enables your users to be alerted automatically when there are any changes or additions to the Calendar. The RSS link will be shown directly on the Calendar for the user to locate and subscribe to.
